Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using TeamTask. These terms govern your use of our application and services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a TeamTask account or using the TeamTask mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TeamTask.
2. Description of Service
TeamTask is a field-service and crew management platform that enables businesses to assign tasks, coordinate schedules, and communicate with field crews. The service is available via a mobile application on iOS.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Subscription and Billing
TeamTask offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. On iOS, paid plans are billed through Apple In-App Purchase and managed via your Apple ID. You authorize Apple to charge your payment method on the billing cycle you select at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use the service for any unlawful purpose • Harass, threaten, or harm other users • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes intellectual property • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service • Use automated means to access the service without permission • Resell or redistribute access to the service
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to TeamTask (messages, task notes, photos). By submitting content, you grant TeamTask a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service. You are solely responsible for content you submit. TeamTask is not responsible for user-generated content.
7. Moderation and Reporting
TeamTask provides tools for users to block and report objectionable content: • Long-press any chat message to report it or block the sender • Manage blocked users in Settings → Blocked users • Report violations to help@teamtask.team We review reports within 24 hours and take action against accounts that violate these Terms, including content removal, account suspension, or termination. Repeated violations or threats may be reported to law enforcement. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts at our sole discretion to maintain a safe and productive service for our users.
8. Privacy
Your use of TeamTask is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By accepting these Terms, you also accept our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. TeamTask does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any content submitted by users.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamTask shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to TeamTask in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
