Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data TeamTask collects, how it is used, and the controls you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account: your name, email address, and role (owner, manager, crew, or viewer). We collect usage data including tasks you create or are assigned to, messages sent within your organization, and notification interactions. We collect device identifiers for push notification delivery. We do not collect payment card details — subscription payments on iOS are processed by Apple through the App Store.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: • Provide and operate the TeamTask service • Send you notifications about tasks and team activity • Allow your manager and crew members to coordinate work • Process subscription payments through Apple In-App Purchase • Respond to support requests We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

Your profile name and role are visible to members of your organization. Your email address is not shared with other users. We share data with: • Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure) • Apple (subscription payment processing on iOS) • RevenueCat (subscription receipt validation and event delivery) • Expo (push notification delivery) • Sentry (anonymized crash reporting) • PostHog (anonymized product analytics) All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, we remove your messages, notifications, and personal profile data within 30 days. Task records may be retained in anonymized form for operational continuity within your organization.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to: • Access your data (via "Export My Data" in Settings) • Correct inaccurate information (via Profile settings) • Request deletion of your account and associated data (via "Delete Account" in Settings) • Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account For requests or questions, email us at privacy@teamtask.team.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated users within your organization through row-level security controls.

7. Children

TeamTask is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at privacy@teamtask.team.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
